Singing With More Than Just Dynamics
Dynamics are a critical element in music. Having dynamics in music is part of what makes a song emotional. Getting softer draws the listener in to intently listen to the singer and their plight. Getting louder will make your point emphatically. However, all of these dynamics won’t mean anything unless you also try to evoke the emotion behind them. Learning how to sing using passion doesn’t have to be long and complicated. Listen to the words and feel the meaning behind them. Then it will be easy to have accompanying dynamics to truly make your song and performance memorable with the audience.
